Remy Jungerman Venice Biennale International Art Exhibition
Remy Jungerman was born in Suriname on April 7, 1959.
He works in Amsterdam and New York.
His works are a continuation of Piet Mondrian’s, who strongly influenced Remy Jungerman.
The works presented at the Venice Biennale are painted wood sculptures.
Wood is treated in a very dynamic way to give the impression of metallic and industrial structures, both aggressive and open.
