Voluspa Jarpa “Altered Views” Venice Biennale International Art Exhibition
Voluspa Jarpa, Altered Views Voluspa Jarpa’s exhibition, “Altered Views” at the Chilean Pavilion at the 2019 Venice Art Biennale, is an invitation to reflect on racism, economic interests and domination as a form of colonialism.
The exhibition is divided into three parts: The Museum of Hegemony, the Gallery of Subordinate Portraits and the Emancipation Opera.
Voluspa Jarpa is a Chilean artist, born in 1971 in Rancagua, Chile.
She lives and works in Santiago.
